Blower Equipment Room & Blower Relocation

In coordination with Trabuco City Water District (TCWD) Operations, MCM successfully delivered the blower equipment room and relocation works through a carefully phased approach that prioritized continuous plant operations. Existing VFDs were temporarily utilized while new systems were introduced, and construction sequencing ensured that at least two blowers remained operational at all times—avoiding the need for a full plant shutdown. Temporary piping and support systems were also implemented to maintain flexibility and allow rapid system reversion if needed.

The project included the controlled relocation of blower units, adaptive construction solutions to mitigate material delays, and comprehensive testing and commissioning. Equipment was properly stored and prepared in accordance with Lone Star Blower standards, followed by staged startup, inspection, calibration, and training. This ensured seamless integration of new and existing systems, resulting in a reliable and fully operational facility.
