Delivered construction management services for the Dry Pit improvements at the Heritage Lift Station on behalf of Trabuco Canyon Water District. The work included demolition and installation of new mechanical systems for Pump No. 1, including the owner-furnished pump, pump pad, suction and discharge piping, valves, fittings, and supports. A new discharge manifold was constructed and integrated with the existing system, with provisions for future replacement of Pumps No. 2 and 3. Additional improvements included replacement of force main fittings and valves with a new tee and valve cluster, along with associated excavation, backfill, compaction, and pavement restoration. A temporary sewer bypass system was implemented and maintained to ensure continuous operation during construction.
As the Owner’s representative, MCM managed construction documentation, reviewed and negotiated change orders, and monitored project schedules. The team also coordinated inspections, field testing, and system startup, ensuring successful commissioning and delivery of complete closeout and warranty documentation.
